This icon is self explanatory but definitely worth a mention. With so
many consumer products being made off-shore, we wanted to highlight and celebrate our home grown talents and products. From the award winning Ringley Teether to the newly launched and innovative products from Messie Jessie. Sprig Toys are just hitting the scene with their amazing (and eco-friendly) toys made in a Canadian factory.
Our signature raspberry classifies products that are exclusive to
Raspberry Kids in Canada. We have scoured the globe to bring you a unique set of products and we are most proud of our exclusive finds such as Little Chipipi, Colette Kids and Kuki Kids, a brilliant high quality collection of baby and toddler clothing designed by an Australian mom who now lives in Hong Kong. Several other products we carry have very minimal retail presence in Canada such as Dante Beatrix and their adorable little kid back packs.

A budding sprout signifies organic, sustainable or eco-friendly products. Help promote the kind of world you want to hand down to your children and your children's children by shopping responsibly. Products that display this icon are those that are ethically made using fair trade practices and/or contribute to charities or give back to the world community in some way. Kenana Knitters donates portions of their sales back to the women in Kenya who lovingly made these pieces. As members of 1% of the planet, Boon is another great example of a company that is making a positive difference.
We have amassed a collection of products we are very proud of and have used or would use for our own children but we are constantly seeking out new products to bring to our valued Raspberry Kids customers and when we do, we will use this icon to let you know.

I love that this is safe and non-toxic. The fact that when you open the bottle and you do not get that stinky nail polish smell tells you that this must be a safe product if there are no bad fumes.
I also find that it applies quite well and the staying power lasts for a very long time. Definitely 2+ weeks and I am not exactly the type of person who "cares" for my nails (I use this mainly for my pedicure). Because this is water-based, it does seem to stain your skin (should you get some on your fingers like me since I am not a pro at the whole pedicure thing) so be careful when applying.
I definitely will be using Scotch from now on and tossing out my other stinky nail polishes full or chemicals! (Posted on 9/21/11) -

I purchased a bottle of Kiltlifter (great name, fabulous colour) a few weeks ago and am very impressed with this nail polish. I have been eyeing Scotch Naturals for awhile but was concerned that being water based it would not perform and be worth the $.
I put the polish on my toes a week and a half ago without buffing or using a bottom/top coat. I used two coats of polish and I just got my first chip today after stubbing my toe off my daughters car seat - lol! I have had 3 comments on how great the polish looks.
I would highly recommend this product to anyone - and have already done so with a few friends.
And as a bonus - I'm guessing because its water based - I am actually able to apply this polish myself without it looking goopy and messy. It goes on beautifully smooth on the first try. I haven't painted my own nails in years because I just couldn't get a nice finish. Add all this together with the fact that its safe - a great product for sure! (Posted on 9/15/11) -

As an avid lover of manicured nails, I have amassed a collection of "high quality" (OPI, Essie, etc) nail polishes. However, as a habitual nail biter, the thought of ingesting this polish is terrifying! When I tried Scotch Naturals for the first time, I wasn't pleased. After a shower, the polish had completely chipped on every single nail. However, I had heard that the nail polish conditions your nails so that each time you use it, your nails become healthier and the polish works better and better. So I tried it again and was completely IMPRESSED! The polish stayed relatively unchipped for days and that was without a top coat. While it comes with less colour options and may not be as long lasting as OPI or equivalents, all in all, as a completely safe alternative, Scotch Naturals delivers and is worth the second try.
