We are partying like it's 1999! Actually, fast forward 11 years and we partying (virtually) on Facebook!
Raspberry Kids has teamed up with the amazing folks at SavvyMom for two virtual Back to School themed events taking place this coming Thursday, August 26th.
an effort to accommodate different timezones (and bedtime routines), we
are hosting two events, one that takes place at 8PM EST time and the
second event takes place at 8PM PST time.
There will be lots of prizes (including those pictured above!) and it will be tons of fun!
The best part: you don't have to get all gussied up to attend, just log on and join in the par-tay!
We adore the entire Mudpuppy range which includes puzzles, playing cards, magnetic sets, flash cards, journals, money banks, coloring sets and sticker books.
Mudpuppy products come in a heap of different designs including popular Eric Carle & Where the Wild Things Are as well as your general faves like Pirates, Princesses, Robots, Monsters, Zoo Animals, Space & Dance themes.
Mudpuppy products are fabulous for party favors, they make great gifts, some are award winning and have an educational component to them and are wonderful for kids to play with independently (when quiet time is needed) or with others. Prices range from $6.99 to $18.99 which is a great price point for birthday gifts!
We are very pleased to be giving away a Colour Me Puzzle, a Magnet Set AND a sticker book to one lucky Raspberry Patch newsletter subscriber.
best part is you do not have to do a thing to enter, you are
automatically in the draw just for being a valued subscriber. You can
earn extra ballots by forwarding our Raspberry Patch newsletter to your friends and
family. You will receive an extra ballot for every forward. Good luck!
One of the
biggest benefits of being the Chief Executive Mom of Raspberry Kids is
that I get to meet a lot of fabulous people including other entreprenuers.
Maureen from Emily Press Labels, is one of those peeps I have come to know, respect and admire.
Labels is a local Vancouver company but they ship all over Canada &
the US. Their designs are adorable! My son chose Rascal Red the puppy
and it was no surprise that my daughter wanted Precious Pink the butterfly!
They are waterproof, dishwasher and laundry safe. I'm a bit of a label
virgin but am excited to give them a try and prevent items from going
astray throughout the school year.
Emily Press has graciously offered Raspberry Kids newsletter subscribers 15% off their purchases until August 29th! At checkout on their site, use the code: rkids15

This Month's Winning OOTMOB: "Elbow's Up!"
"When my son was just under two I had set him up in his highchair to do some painting. Once he got going on his masterpiece I took the time to get a few things done.
The next time I looked over I noticed him intently painting his hand and arm instead of the paper.
I said to him "Sam, what are you up to?"
He looked up and said nonchalantly "my elbow"!
Enjoy spending your $25 Raspberry Kids electronic gift card Elayne.Thank you to everyone who continue to submit their OOTMOBS!
is with mixed emotions that I send my daughter off to Kindergarten this
fall (Sporting her new Papar Big Kid Pack that I've had my eye on since
they came out with this design). A part of me is so excited for her to
enter this new phase of her life and a part of me is nervous about what
to expect and how it will play out and how much homework I will have to help her with (Yikes, it's been a while!) I am so incredibly proud of her and as soon as she can read, write and spell, I'm going to see if she is interested in helping produce our monthly Raspberry Patch newsletters!
My son will be going to his second year at the preschool program at our local Community Centre which is a more familiar scene and both he and I know what to expect. Although, in my short years as a parent, one of the things I have learned is to always expect the UNEXPECTED! As such, we will take his re-entry to preschool day by day!
How quickly they have both grown and I want them and everyone to know, I am very proud to be their mom.
We recognize that many of our readers are still years away from being engrossed in the frenzy of back to school and I can assure you when our kids were born and were little, it felt like light years until I would be sending them off to "Big Kid School" but as they say time flies and in what feels like the blink of an eye, it is here, it is happening and it is just around the corner!
What a wonderful ride we are on. Embrace and savor the moments, no matter what age or phase your child(ren) are in.
Thank you for reading and have a fresh, healthy & fun day. Today
and every day.
