What the heck is an OOTMOB you ask? It stands for "Out Of The Mouth of Babes".
Each month we will feature a cute quote, question or quip from one of our Raspberry Patch newsletter subscribers. Please email your submission to: firstname.lastname@example.org.
If we feature your OOTMOB, you will receive a $25 Raspberry Kids gift card.
This month's OOTMOB is ...
We were listening to the radio whilst driving the car and a commercial came on.
Afterwards, my 3 year old exclaimed "Sleep Country?!"
"I NEVER want to go to that country!"
"That would give me a headache."
(We hear you, that jingle gives us a headache too!)
Enjoy your $25 Raspberry Kids gift card Sarah!
We come across A LOT of products in our travels and we always love when we find a local brand that rocks our socks, or in this case, our pants, t's, dresses, jackets ...
Peekaboo Beans is a beautiful story about a Mom who has a really great eye for design, emphasizes the importance of play and has very high quality standards. I've had the pleasure of meeting the wonderful Traci Costa on several occasions but recently spent time in her playground (a.k.a. their office) in Richmond, BC.
Peekaboo Beans is known for their whimsical playwear that lasts FOREVER! Our daughter is still wearing her vintage PB dress from 3 years ago. We are super excited about their launch of their upcoming tween line as well and just wanted to take a moment to shout out this fabulous Canadian business.
P.S. We may even have a Peekaboo Beans giveaway as a Flash Friday on our blog soon!
Being a bit of a procrastinator myself, one of the biggest challenges I find working at Raspberry Kids is constantly having to think a season or two ahead. It is impossible to "cram" the way I did when I had a big test or paper due, instead we need to think months out to make sure we are prepared and ready to service our fabulous customers and have what you need when you need it. This upcoming holiday season is no exception and we have been planning, list making and ramping up for quite some time.
Despite our need to look into the future like a fortune teller, we also do our best to live in the moment. A recent example was this past Saturday which was an absolutely perfect day complete with a sleep in, mini soccer tourney, catching up with friends and working on our monthly newsletter.
Whether you are looking ahead, reminiscing about the past or living in the moment today, may you do it with gusto and surrounded by those you cherish.
Have a fresh, healthy & fun day, today and every day,
Chief Executive Mom,
